Drivin' on 9
The Breeders show last night was a great time. Kim and Kelley both looked happy and like they were having fun, and it was my birthday and I was a little tipsy and with my friends, so I was having fun, even though it was 9000 degrees.
The funniest part of the show was this guy next to us who could not stop yelling, “Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Woo! Yeah!” I seriously think he had Tourette’s, the way he kept doing it in a pattern. Oh course, I’m reading Motherless Brooklyn right now, so I think everyone has Tourette’s. He was just so focused. It wasn’t really annoying, it was just sort of funny. Or maybe I was just a little drunk. Near the very end he yelled, “You look beautiful for 47!” and everyone laughed.
Distorte, you’ll be happy to know that Josh only took one picture. Well, two, but that was because they brought a cake with candles onstage and I said, “Take a picture!”
(I am being tongue in cheek. I know Distorte is not a fun nazi.)
